Greg Mastrean – Investment Analyst

In any quality-driven system, positive results come about as the result of attention to detail. As Investment Analyst with Fort Pitt Capital Group, Greg Mastrean shoulders a good deal of that responsibility, particularly as it relates to mutual funds and asset allocation.
"I pride myself on digging into the details of mutual funds, making sure every aspect of a potential investment is examined," he said.
"Investment opportunities are always changing, and we need to be ready to act on behalf of our clients based on good information."
Greg came to the firm after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. He supported sales efforts initially, before being promoted to his current role as Investment Analyst, working under the direction of Fort Pitt Capital managing director Doug Kreps. Greg is currently enrolled in the Chartered Financial Analyst program and has thus far passed Level One. He lives in Pittsburgh.
