Daryl Patten – Vice President and Financial Consultant
“Helping people send their kids to college or save for a comfortable retirement, or helping them after the loss of a job or the passing of a loved family member – that’s when being a trusted advisor is most rewarding.”
Daryl Patten has seen the financial advisory industry
from the perspective of the giant corporation
and the personalized firm, and there’s little
doubt where his heart lies today.
“At the big firms, corporate marketing
drives asset acquisition – there’s
no deep relationship with the client, it’s
very superficial,” he says. “We’re
the antithesis of that here. Most of our new clients
come from referrals, we meet with them, we become
their trusted advisors.”
Daryl has drawn on his first-hand leadership
experience in training, sales, new market penetration,
asset management, corporate sales to small- and
medium-size companies, and professional development
at Charles Schwab & Co. to enhance his comprehensive
approach to client service at Fort Pitt Capital
Group, which he joined in 2001. He is a graduate
of Geneva College and attended the University
of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business. He lives
in Butler, PA, with his wife, Linda, and their
two sons.
