A costly mistake: The investment gap for women

The wage gap: it’s a theme that is frequently discussed in the media, and is a concern that has been put in the workplace spotlight. But, what about the investment gap? Studies have shown that American women typically save less for retirement than men. Additionally, compared to their counterparts, women gravitate toward saving cash, and miss opportunities to take advantage of investing strategies.

The investment gap is an issue that is important for women to understand and overcome, so they can properly secure their financial future.

With this in mind, we are excited to share that our own Kim Forrest and Katharine Perry will take part in an upcoming 2018 WELD Pittsburgh Leadership Series in January to address these concerns and share their knowledge on the topic.

The seminar will take place on Thursday, January 18, starting at 5:30 pm ET at Alloy 26. For full details and registration information, visit the WELD USA website. Registration closes on January 12 – we look forward to seeing you there!
