FOCUS: Ludgy supports Fort Pitt’s financial advisors through mentorship and guidance to ensure the best possible client service experience. He helps the firm by setting growth goals, determining opportunities for community involvement, recruiting new talent, and working alongside his fellow leadership team to execute the firm strategies.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Ludgy has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he served as a Senior Private Client Advisor and Business Development Consultant. Ludgy is excited to apply his skills and knowledge to help guide Fort Pitt’s advisory team.

EDUCATION: Stony Brook University

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Ludgy has previously served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for The Jubilee Center of Hoboken and is looking forward to getting involved with the Pittsburgh community.

PERSONAL: Being a long-time resident of New York City, Ludgy is a city boy at heart. He loves good food and sharing experiences with his family and loved ones.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Beth came to Fort Pitt Capital Group in 2018 with over 20 years of experience as a financial consultant. She has worked as a financial advisor at another Pittsburgh based RIA, as a Wealth Planner at PNC Advisors, and started her career at a brokerage and insurance company.

FOCUS: Brad’s responsibilities include being the key, day-to-day contact for investment strategy, planning advice, and account oversight to ensure his clients’ financial goals are met. His coordination of financial planning and investment advisory work focuses on investment portfolio review, detailed retirement analysis, college education funding, charitable giving strategies, and unique planning engagements for clients in various types of transition.

In addition to working with individual clients, Brad also has extensive experience working with trusts, institutions, nonprofits, 401 (k) retirement plans, and municipal pension plans.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Brad’s a twenty-five plus year veteran of the investment advisory and financial planning industry. He came to Fort Pitt Capital via his career with Roof Advisory Group that began in 2003.

EDUCATION: BA, Juniata College

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Brad is currently a member of the Investment Committee for the United Way of the Capital Region, Investment Committee & Finance Committee for the Ronald McDonald House of Central PA. He currently serves on the boards of the Ronald McDonald House of Central PA and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Investment Program. He has served multiple terms on the boards of the Central Pennsylvania Estate Planning Council and the Theatre Harrisburg.

PERSONAL: When Brad is not in the office, he enjoys traveling with his family, spending time in Maine, and enthusiastically cheering on his daughter’s and son’s lacrosse teams.

FOCUS: Bryson aims to help clients navigate all aspects of their financial lives. Whether it’s purchasing/refinancing a home, assisting aging parents/adult children, or charitable gifting; each decision has an impact on future finances and retirement funding. He regularly coordinates with estate planning/eldercare attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, and loan officers to keep the client’s team of professionals informed and incorporate their specialized advice in legal, tax, insurance, and financing to achieve a well-informed recommendation.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Bryson Roof began his career with a global financial services firm in Virginia Beach, Virginia with a focus on financial planning. Relocating back to his hometown in southcentral Pennsylvania, he joined Roof Advisory Group in 2012, which later merged with Fort Pitt Capital Group in 2019.

Bryson has been quoted in various financial publications, including CNBC, US News & World Report, Yahoo Finance, Barron’s, USA Today, and AARP. He also contributes to the Harrisburg Magazine with his monthly column: the Finance Hound.

EDUCATION: BA, Virginia Wesleyan University
He completed the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2015.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Bryson is a licensed field trial judge through the American Kennel Club, traveling to beagle clubs throughout the Northeast.  He holds multiple roles in many wildlife conservation organizations, including being the Treasurer for the Northeast Beagle Gundog Federation, the immediate past president of Harrisburg Beagle Club, and the current budget committee member of Harrisburg Beagle Club. Bryson was a past Vice President of the West Shore Young Professionals, a former Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Pennsylvania Region, and sat as Chairman of the Blood Drive Committee for the Rotary Club of Harrisburg.

PERSONAL: Outside of work, you can find Bryson at the kennel training his AKC beagles or at various beagle clubs judging AKC field trials. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys saltwater fishing, hunting, camping, and managing large tracts of land for wildlife conservation.

Cory’s financial advisory career began with a large national firm where he built his practice for 5 years. One of the skills he found to be essential to his success and his clients’ success was his ability to listen. In listening to his clients and understanding their needs, he recognized that the opportunity with Fort Pitt Capital would allow him to serve them best. Now Cory has the resources needed to effectively manage his clients’ wealth, build detailed plans, and tap into specialists’ knowledge when necessary.

Her natural proclivity for organization and a desire to learn and grow allowed her to advance in this field to her current position as a financial advisor with Fort Pitt Capital Group. She recently passed the national exam to be a Certified Financial Planner after completing a rigorous course of study through Duquesne University.

PERSONAL: Emily lives on Pittsburgh’s Northside with her family and their dog, Sophie. When she’s not busy rehabbing their 100-year-old home, she enjoys scouring Western Pennsylvania’s many flea markets and estate sales for vintage furniture, reading, and gardening.

But physical locations are no boundary to our firm being able to work with you successfully. We have clients in almost all 50 states and the technology to conduct remote meetings with video and screen sharing.

Fort Pitt Capital Group’s office hours are weekdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm EST/EDT. We are closed during the same holidays as the stock market:
